Ahh, you want someone else to do the pedaling. That’s okay. You’re on vacation. Go ahead, relax. We’ll get you there. You relax, enjoy the ride and learn some interesting facts on this city we like to call Austin.

AdeoTours has formed an exclusive partnership with Capital Pedicab in Austin to provide visitors a unique way to check out the city and all it has to offer. For those unfamiliar, pedicabs are based on a three-wheeled bicycle platform and powered by the legs of a driver up front. In the rear, there is room for two or three passengers. Passengers pay a fare, just like any other cab, to see the city at a much slower, more relaxed pace.

Ready to go? The first step is to get yourself to the Austin Visitors Center. Once there, you can purchase the PediTour and schedule your time. PediTours leave on the half hour from the Visitor Center. Riders will be given a tour map, which will serve as your receipt. Once your Pedicab arrives, just have a seat and enjoy a unique spin through some of the city’s most treasured icons. Your tour will last about 55 minutes, so settle in, relax and enjoy!

The Tour
With this unique partnership between AdeoTours and Capital Pedicab, we are able to offer passengers a relaxing way to see – and learn – about Austin. Like AdeoTours’ MP3 walking and driving tours, AdeoTours will use the MP3 platform in the pedicab itself, but instead of wearing headphones, riders will hear the tour over a public address system.

The pedicab tour will take passengers from point to point and when they arrive at each location, the riders will hear a three- to five-minute podcast highlighting a range of city features. The PediTour will last approximately 55 minutes and start and ends at the Austin Visitors Center.
